Batch Splitter FAQ

How many images can I split at once?

There's no hard limit. You can upload as many images as your browser can handle. We recommend batches of 20-30 images for the best experience, but you can do more.

How does the batch splitter work?

Upload multiple images, configure your split settings once (grid preset, format, quality), then click 'Split All'. Each image is processed with the same settings and all results are packaged into a single ZIP download.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your images never leave your device. This means faster processing and complete privacy.

How are files organized in the ZIP?

Each image's split pieces are organized in a folder named after the original file. For example, if you split 'photo.jpg' into a 3x3 grid, you'll find 9 files inside a 'photo/' folder in the ZIP.

Can I use different settings for each image?

The batch splitter applies the same split settings to all images for efficiency. If you need different settings per image, use our standard Image Splitter tool for each one individually.

What image formats are supported?

We support JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG, and BMP. You can also choose your output format (PNG, JPEG, WebP) and quality settings before splitting.
